Meaningful Learning Through Play.
Fremont Parents’ Nursery School (FPNS) is a nonprofit cooperative, driven and supported by parents.
Established in 1961, we are a local leader in early childhood education, dedicated to providing a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment to our diverse community of families.
Why us
We believe that children thrive when they are having fun. Our environment fosters the development of the whole child—physically, socially, and emotionally—at a pace that respects their unique individuality.
Purposeful Play
Parents work alongside the teachers in the classroom to nurture each child's development. Parent education meetings are offered to help families provide progressive, developmentally-appropriate care at school and home.
Collaborative Community
Programs
We offer play-based nursery school programs for children ages 2-6 and their families.
Mixed Age
Provide your child with fun, stimulating learning experiences in our mixed-age class. Parents work alongside teachers for one day each week.
Our new Extended Sessions (Tues/Thurs until 2:00 PM) give children aged 3.5+ the space to dive deeper into projects and social play.
Summer Camp
Nurtures creativity, curiosity, and collaboration in a safe environment. With activities from outdoor adventures to art projects, it promises a summer your child will cherish.
