FPNS One Warm Coat Drive
Fall is here and winter is approaching. As temperatures begin to drop, many families in our community struggle to afford warm winter coats.
Through the month of November, FPNS is hosting a One Warm Coat drive to benefit area youth served by the Viola Blythe Community Service Center because no child should go without a coat in winter. Our goal is to warm 100 children by Thanksgiving. Viola Blythe will distribute our donated coats to needy youth during the holiday season. You can participate in one of two ways:
1. Donate coats to our drive! Through November 26th, 2019 stop by the school’s main entrance to drop off new or gently worn coats in children’s size 0 to teen in the marked bin. All coats collected will be donated locally to our neighbors in need. Get all of the details here.
2. Donate dollars! Donations to One Warm Coat support their coat drive program and outreach efforts. Every $5 donated warms 10 people - what an incredible impact! You can donate directly to our coat drive and help us reach our goal of warming 100 people for the holidays by clicking here. You can also donate by cash or check during our coat drive.
