Pre K Lead Teacher
Now accepting candidates for Part-Time Afternoon (1- 4pm Class) Pre-K Lead Teacher for 2019- 2020 School Year
Fremont Parents’ Nursery School (FPNS) 4.0 hours Mondays through Thursdays.
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and nurturing Lead Teacher who will be committed to our play-based philosophy, cooperative preschool, outdoor nature classroom, and developmental approach to learning. Ideal candidates will have the ability to establish effective and positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, and have excellent communication skills. Familiarity with a cooperative school is desirable, but not required. The position schedule and compensation will be discussed during interview.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Minimum of 12 Core semester units in Early Childhood Education
AA BA, Master Teacher Permit a plus
Minimum of 2 years classroom teaching experience, practicum/ internship teaching acceptable
Certification *may be obtained upon hire prior to first day of school
LiveScan Clearance
Required Immunization to work in classroom
Pediatric CPR/First Aid (adult, child and infant) EMSA
Mandated Reporter Training

We welcome those who demonstrate the willingness to commit to our play- based philosophy, cooperative preschool, outdoor nature classroom, and developmental approach to learning. Ideal candidates will have the ability to establish effective and positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, and have excellent communication skills.
