FPNS is a non-partisan, non-profit, and non-sectarian organization formed in order to create a child-centered environment that has planned supervision for group activity on the preschool level, and to guide parents in family and social life. We serve children ages two years to pre-K.
The purpose of FPNS is two-fold: (1) to provide a well-rounded program for the children of the members and an educational program for the parents, to be directed by trained professional nursery school teachers; and (2) to further the growth of cooperative nursery schools and maintain and improve standards already achieved.
FPNS is a proud member of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools and the East Bay Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools.
